Yousef Gaber
LMSW | he/him, they/them
You deserve a therapist who gets that you might be living in more than one world at once. I'm Yousef Gaber, an LGBTQ+ therapist and Licensed Master Social Worker for queer men and trans people in Austin and across Texas. I especially welcome queer clients from immigrant and first-gen families. I help with anxiety, depression, identity and family relationships. At Outspace, your pronouns, your culture and your chosen family all belong here.
Maybe you're out in some spaces and not others, and switching between them is exhausting. Maybe you understand your story but still don't feel at home in yourself. I use narrative therapy, which helps you reclaim your story on your own terms. Mindfulness and ACT help you feel more at ease in your body. My style is warm and unhurried. In our first session, we'll talk about what you'd like to feel differently.
I believe you never have to choose between parts of who you are. Outside sessions, I'm making art or sipping tea under a shady oak tree. I see clients in person at our Austin office near UT and virtually anywhere in Texas. Whenever you're ready, I'd love to meet you.
