Tamesha Clement
LPC | She/Her
When home feels tense and you're not sure your family really sees you, it's hard to just be yourself. I'm Tamesha Clement, an LGBTQ+ therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor for queer and trans teens, adults and families across Texas. I help with family conflict, coming out, big emotions, anxiety and stress. I bring experience from schools, community mental health and family services. At Outspace, your pronouns and your chosen family are always welcome.
Maybe a conversation about who you are keeps turning into an argument, or your emotions feel like they're running the show. I use CBT, which helps you catch anxious thoughts before they snowball. DBT gives you skills to calm big emotions in the moment. My style is supportive, practical and judgment-free. In our first session, we'll talk about what's weighing on you most.
I believe every part of you deserves to be welcome in the room. Outside sessions, you'll find me with an audiobook, a puzzle or a craft project. I see clients virtually anywhere in Texas. Whenever you're ready, I'd love to meet you.
